There’s a great local blog about life on Cape Ann called Good Morning Gloucester (http://goodmorninggloucester.wordpress.com/).  The blog features several contributors, including Fred Bodin of Bodin Historic Photo on Main Street in Gloucester.  If you are ever visiting Gloucester, it’s worth stopping in to visit Fred- he is a very interesting guy and has some amazing photographs (both historic and contemporary) that capture life on the Northshore.  He recently featured a great post on Good Morning Gloucester that included some pictures of cod fishing from the 1950s.  Check it out here:
