Earlier this month, a fishermen in Florida had quite the surprise when he found this dangling from the end of his rod and reel:
Measuring 18″ in length, this giant shrimp had to be picked up like a lobster over the back of the tail. Although scientists haven’t determined the exact species of the shrimp, it may be a mantis shrimp, which as it turns out is not related to the type of shrimp we eat.
