April 28: Four Course Beer Dinner at Turner’s Melrose

Things to do

Looking for something fun to do next week? On Tuesday, April 28, Turner’s Seafood in Melrose is hosting a four-course prix-fixed dinner with exciting pairings from the local Cape Ann Brewery.  Head brewer Dylan L’Abbe-Lindquist will headline the event, sharing his knowledge and experience on some of the finer points of brewing for flavor and character.  To compliment these microbrews, Turner’s Melrose head chef Jamie Aguiler has designed a seasonal menu for the event designed to please with each and every course.

Turner’s is excited to be partnering with Cape Ann Brewery for this event, which brews its craft beers on-site on the Gloucester waterfront.  From the Cape Ann Brewery website:

“Fisherman’s beer — whose bold flavor and character reflect the spirit and courage of the sailors of the North Atlantic fishing fleet — is a tribute to hard work and a salute to friendships that endure. Cape Ann Brewing Company is an award-winning, family-owned, craft brewery in the heart of downtown Gloucester, Massachusetts on Boston’s North Shore.”

The Cape Ann Brewery is also a strong advocate for the fishing industry and has worked hard to develop practices in it’s brewing process that are geared towards sustainability and boosting the local economy.  We hope you can make it to the event on Tuesday, April 28 to learn more and enjoy the beer and seafood pairings.

The dinner is set to start at 6:30pm, reservations are required. Call 781.662.0700 for more info.
